Whether rain, snow or sun - decking boards are exposed to different weather conditions every day. For this reason, the material used must be able to withstand any weather conditions. At Parkett Hinterseer you have the choice between WPC planks and Resysta floor boards. Let yourself be inspired by the advantageous and stylish decking boards.

What do WPC and Resysta mean?

WPC is the abbreviation for „Wood Plastic Composite“, which translates as wood-plastic composite material. WPC decking boards usually consist of up to 70 percent wood fibers (pine and spruce). The remaining portion is plastic. They can be attached to a decking substructure just like the classic decking boards made of wood.

In addition to WPC, the range of Parquet Hinterseer offers terrace boards made of wood-like "Resysta". The floor boards are made of rice husks, rock salts as well as mineral oil and are consequently wood-free. The material is environmentally friendly and resistant to sun, rain, snow, salt water and temperature fluctuations. Visually and haptically there is hardly any difference to tropical wood.

What are the advantages of WPC and Resysta decking?

Both materials have a particularly high resistance to pest infestation. For this reason, insects, moss and fungi have no chance to attack these modern materials. In addition, the decking boards are easy to maintain and have a long service life. As a rule, the planks are equipped with grooves of different thicknesses and a smooth surface on the upper or lower side. Depending on personal taste you will find the right profiling for your decking boards with us.

  • WPC planks do not splinter. For this reason, you can walk barefoot on the floorboards without any problems. The slightly roughened surface ensures that you do not slip - even when the floor is wet. WPC is UV-resistant and moisture repellent due to the plastic content. Even if it is damp for days, there is no risk of deformation. At Parkett Hinterseer you can buy WPC decking boards in various shades of red and brown, as well as in light and dark shades of grey.
  • Resysta planks score in many respects. The planks are 100 percent recyclable, which is why they are a sustainable alternative to wood and WPC. Resysta decking boards feel warm and natural. In terms of their appearance, the sustainable planks are hardly distinguishable from tropical woods. Another advantage is that the material does not rot and can withstand even warm, humid weather. The long durability and minimal maintenance also speak in favour of Resysta. As Resysta planks are UV-resistant, water-resistant and resistant to salt and chlorinated water, the material is ideally suited for laying on your terrace.

Wou can choose your favourite from a versatile product range. You will find the material for the assembly of the Resysta and WPC substructure in the category terrace accessories.
