XL Reclaimed Scaffold Board White Oiled Wide Plank Flooring – Exclusive Spruce Parquet with History
The XL Reclaimed Scaffold Board Wide Plank Flooring in a white oiled finish is more than just a floor. It is a piece of living history that brings a truly unique atmosphere into any room. Crafted from reclaimed scaffold boards once used during renovation work on Cologne Cathedral, each plank bears visible traces of its former life.
Day after day, this timber provided a secure footing for craftsmen working high above the ground, exposed to wind, weather, and years of use. That history remains visible today and contributes to the distinctive character of this extraordinary reclaimed scaffold board flooring.
The heavily brushed surface reveals the original beauty of the spruce wood. Grain patterns become highly visible, while small knots and weather-related cracks are deliberately preserved, telling the story of the material and adding authentic charm. Despite its rugged appearance, the surface remains comfortable underfoot. Careful sanding and intensive brushing ensure that nothing splinters, and the spruce parquet flooring feels pleasantly warm and natural, even when walked on barefoot.
The scaffold boards are made from spruce wood, a naturally light timber characterized by numerous small knot markings that have been intentionally retained. The reclaimed scaffold board flooring is finished with a white oil treatment, creating a particularly bright appearance. The wood grain is emphasized beautifully, creating striking contrasts and an expressive character.
This wide plank flooring is a genuine one-of-a-kind product, a floor that shapes the atmosphere of a room and deserves to be showcased. Its slightly cool and distinctive appearance pairs beautifully with interior designs that introduce warmth and harmony. Textiles and natural plants instantly create a welcoming environment. Light or pastel color palettes enhance the friendly appearance, while black furnishings create dramatic contrasts. The flooring is especially inviting when combined with a fireplace, bringing warmth and comfort to the living space.
Construction and Features of XL Reclaimed Scaffold Board White Flooring
The XL Reclaimed Scaffold Board Flooring in white not only impresses with its remarkable origin but also with its thoughtful construction, making it a durable and comfortable parquet flooring solution. The planks are manufactured as 3-layer engineered parquet. The stable core layer and balancing backing ensure that the spruce wood adapts optimally to changing room conditions while maintaining long-term dimensional stability. For precise and reliable installation, each plank is equipped with a traditional tongue-and-groove joint system.
The white oiled finish not only provides the wood with its bright and elegant appearance but also protects the surface against staining and simplifies everyday maintenance. With impressive lengths of either 2.20 m or 2.60 m, these planks belong to the category of large-format flooring. The generous 28 cm width further emphasizes the striking reclaimed timber character and allows each individual plank to become a defining design feature. This makes it the perfect choice for showcasing the distinctive structure of the reclaimed scaffold board flooring.
The Largo Collection Reclaimed Scaffold Board Flooring
The Largo Collection is defined by its impressive long plank formats and generous board widths. Since wood is a natural product, the tree itself determines the maximum lengths that can be achieved. For this reason, this flooring is available in two different plank lengths.
Orders are placed by square meter in our shop. However, for optimal project planning, we recommend contacting one of our flooring specialists directly. This allows us to provide a tailored quotation based on your preferred plank length and specific project requirements.
