PARAT® Deck Douglas fir with high resistance
The PARAT® deck is made of Douglas fir wood. The native coniferous wood with its distinctive grain and reddish-yellow colour lends every terrace a warm, harmonious flair and is particularly suitable as a terrace covering due to its durability.
In addition to its high strength, Douglas fir wood is highly resistant to pests, fungi and moisture. In the case of solid construction timber (which cannot be obtained later), it is advisable to impregnate it with wood preservatives (wood oil). Regular care supports the durability of the wood and preserves its surface for many years.
Terrace boards made of Douglas fir wood can be processed relatively easily and, thanks to their high resin content, are weatherproof against sun, wind, rain, frost and snow.
PARAT® Deck terrace planks made of Douglas fir wood have a finely ribbed structure (anti-slip).
